I put together a report that compares biological evolution, human technological progress, and AI capability growth across time. The goal was to visualize the compression of intelligence development timescales: from millions of years for hominin cognition to decades for modern AI. The page compares human brain evolution with AI progress and technology milestones. It shows how the pace of innovation has sped up from millions of years in evolution to just decades for AI. AI now beats humans at chess, Go, ImageNet, MMLU, and simple coding, is catching up in software engineering, but still trails in advanced math and long-term planning.
I used my custom researcher agent to gather sources (Stanford HAI AI Index, Epoch AI, Our World in Data, LEAP, and others) and custom ChartJS agent skills to build the charts.
