This is Going to Hurt
A funny yet painful diary about the life of a doctor working for the NHS.
Aside from the occasional cheap bodily function jokes, I found it hilarious. The author has a satirical self-deprecating humour and basically every diary entry ends with a punchline, which makes it a little bit like reading stand-up comedy. I also liked that he explains every technical term in the footnotes.
Look at the ratings of this book on Amazon - it’s that good. It’s not one of those life-changing thought-provking books, but a hell of a good read.
