The Most Beautiful Night of the Soul

Sandor Jaszberenyi ★★★★★

It’s interesting how repulsive main characters can still incite sympathy from the reader. He’s one of those disillusioned low-life characters who have not much to lose, a bit like Bukowski or Houellebecq.

The stories themselves are strong and hit hard. I would recommend reading this collection (but you probably won’t like the protagonist, especially if you happen to be a woman).
